Struggle for licence

Do you know how It feels to do something right when everybody else is doing it "the smooth way". 

I'm now sitting to wait for the test of driving licence. In my country, we can do it the right way or the smooth way. 
Let's talk about the smooth way for a head start. The smooth way gives you a head start in everything. As you enter the site, you got people coming to you and whisper: "you want the smooth way?" or "you got your guide?" or "you wanna do it  Using insiders?". Cost double or triple but half the hassle. Your choice. While ironically the PA kept on saying "don't use the middlemen. Do it yourself". While the middlemen is actually the insiders itself. 

No joke, plain truth in plain sight. The cops are helping the smooth takers. 
Let's talk about the benefits on the smooth way:
1. You don't have to check your eyes for eyes disorders. 
2. You don't have to do the written test. You answer it in anyway you like it as long as the answer is there. You'll pass with whatever score you have. 
3. You don't have to get through all the chambers. For example, the right people must go through the proscedure and ask people to find which chamber next before they are to fill forms needed. The smoot takers only need to follow the insiders ( or so called The Guide).
4. The practice test. The test where you suppose to show your skill and ability in driving is miraculously passed. 
5. After that, you only need to wait for your name tobe called for you to take your licence card. Voilà! It's done. You go home, the Guide is back on his foot to help another badge. Yes,  badge. So many people are using the smooth way. From a full room of 30 seats. Only seven of them did it the right way. On they went smoothly through the proscedure. While on the other side ...

The right way's way.  
1. First I went to the bank inside to make payment. 
2. After that they told me to go to the "god knows what number" chamber. You can always ask the front officer by the lobby. So did I. 
3. She said "take your forms there" the label of the room says "form"
4. After I fill in the form... I didn't know what to do so I watched where the smooth takers go after that. 
5. So they went to insurance chamber. So did I. Make another payment; 30.000 IDR (3$). They gave me the form and advice to go to chamber 4. 
6. I didn't know so I asked a police officer who was kind enough to tell me where to go in a very very discriminating tone ( talking as if I'm a little boy who insists on doing it right. Or I'm just out of cash).
7. The next chamber. Pay 10.000 (1$) for written test registration. 
8. Go to the written test room where it's already full of people. 
9. Take the test... Felt just fine. Only made mistakes a little but I thought it's enough. 
10. After test... Wait for your name to be called. After a 30 minute wait I hot my name called... I failed for hitting only 13 out of 30 questions. Super fool! I was like, what??? 
11. Went to remedial class with other right people. Took the test one more time. One of them told me he decided to take the smooth way from there. 
12. I failed again for only hitting 14 out of 30. One of us succeeded and went straight to the practice course. But where are the others? They were misssing from the score room.  
13. I decided to go home in disgust while I saw a very gut blazing scene: the badge I was in was taking its licence card, including some other who decided to take the smooth way after the remedial. Whatta life.

I decided to go down with it. No matter how deep is the pig hole. So I'll come back next week to redo the test. I believe it's gonna be the same thing happening. But at least I won't be bothered so much next week. As long as i can get My licence the right way, I'll go down with it.

Just today, feb 3, I came back to continue the test. I meant take the second test, and as I feared so, I failed. Again and again. So many of us gave up the right way and head to the smooth way. But that's not gonna happen to me. As I said before, I'm gonna go down to the bottom of this pig hole. So I'll come back next week.
